Gary is located just 35 minutes from Downtown Chicago, and is often called the suburb of Chicago.

lake michigan sunset.jpgThe City of Gary is located at the southern end of Lake Michigan and covers 50 + square miles, in an area called the Calumet region, or the Chicago suburbs in Indiana. The region includes five counties that neighbor Chicago, Illinois and Lake Michigan, including Lake, Porter, La Porte, Newton and Jasper.
